Institutional Structure
An Institutional Framework That Drives Vision and Transforms It into Impact

The International Federation for Artificial Intelligence adopts an integrated organizational structure that ensures clear responsibilities, efficient decision-making, and effective coordination among its councils, departments, and specialized committees.
This structure has been designed to support the Federation’s mission, strengthen governance and transparency, and enable international expertise to contribute to the responsible and sustainable development of artificial intelligence initiatives.

Transparency
Decisions, resources, and programs are managed through documented and reviewable procedures, with relevant reports and information made available to the appropriate authorities.
Accountability
Each organizational level is subject to monitoring and evaluation mechanisms appropriate to its authorities and responsibilities.
Integrity and Independence
Decisions are made in the institutional interest, with conflicts of interest disclosed and adherence to the professional code of conduct maintained.

Organizing training programs, workshops, and specialized artificial intelligence initiatives.

Partnerships & International Cooperation Department

Building partnerships with academic institutions, technology organizations, and relevant international entities.

Governance Committees Responsibility & Governance

  • AI Ethics Committee: Promoting fairness, transparency, and accountability in the design and use of artificial intelligence systems.
  • Data & Privacy Committee: Establishing controls for data collection and use, as well as information protection.
  • Policies & Standards Committee: Developing and updating regulatory frameworks and professional standards related to artificial intelligence.
  • Assessment & Risk Management Committee: Evaluating systems and initiatives and assessing their potential technological and societal impacts.

Scientific & Advisory Council Experts & Researchers

The Council brings together a distinguished group of researchers, experts, and specialists in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to provide scientific guidance and support the Federation’s strategic directions and knowledge-based programs.
